Sales & Marketing
The Sales and Marketing team includes product sales, retail, and marketing/communications. Our Retail Sales team handles merchandise and customer orders for the Council store and online shop. The Product Program department plans, organizes and implements the Council product program strategies and campaigns (including the Fall Product and Cookie sales). Finally, the Communications team works with advocacy, public relations, event planning, and marketing.
Kristel joined GSGWM in February 2014, after spending over two decades working in the corporate retail sector for companies like Gap Inc. and TJX Companies, Inc. During her years in the corporate world, Kristel learned the ins and outs of logistics, planning and buying merchandise, and managing internal and external customer relationships, most recently merging her passion for retail with Ecommerce, and she understands the importance of social media and multi-channel marketing. Kristel graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. As a mother of two young girls, Kristel said she was drawn to Girl Scouts due to her personal passion for raising confident, caring, and considerate young women. In her spare time, Kristel enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her husband Nathan, daughters Alexa and Avery, and their dog Toby.

Sales & Marketing Assistant Director
Karen joined Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains in the fall of 2013, but is not new to Girl Scouting. She was a Girl Scout as a child and later served 12 years as a volunteer leader for each of her 4 daughters’ troops. Karen coordinates all of Council’s major events, including our annual ToGetHerThere luncheon, Girl Scout Day at the Monarchs and our 2015 Girl Expo. She brings nearly 20 years of marketing, special events and fund development experience to her position, most recently serving as director of marketing and fund development at the Red Cross and marketing coordinator and spokesperson for St. Joseph Hospital, both in Nashua. For the past 30 years, Karen has taught children’s dance classes part-time. She also volunteers with the Children’s Theater Project in Concord. When she’s not working, Karen enjoys photography, digital scrapbooking, sewing, tap dancing, and spending time with her family.

Marketing & Event Projects Coordinator
A Girl Scout from 1st through 12th grade, Erin earned the Silver Award. She has served on staff as Marketing & Events Project Coordinator since November 2014. Erin said she particularly enjoys the creative aspects of her job, which is made all the more meaningful by the fact that it benefits an organization that’s been such a big part of her life. She earned her B.A. in English from University of New Hampshire, where she was a member of the Division I Women’s Crew team, and earned her B.A. in Graphic Design and Media Arts in fall 2015. Erin enjoys crafts, especially creating stationary and décor with her letterpress. She also loves being outdoors: kayaking, hiking, running, and playing flag football. She and her husband are enjoying the process of renovating their Concord, NH, home, which was built in 1901.

Communications & Public Relations Manager
After a decade in local and national journalism, April brings her passion for the written word to her current position of Communications and Public Relations Manager. A lifelong New Hampshire resident, April earned her BA in English/Communications from Rivier University in 2005. Her stories and photos have appeared in such publications as Fortune, the New Hampshire Union Leader, and the Lawrence Eagle Tribune, among others. Prior to obtaining her degree, she worked as an activities director for the elderly. April also spent several years waitressing her way through college: an experience she says helped her learn how to multitask and how to relate to people from all walks of life. She is an active volunteer and pet foster with Happy Tails Pet Rescue and believes in the importance of being a voice for the voiceless. In her spare time, April enjoys writing short stories, photography, cooking, and reading. She lives in Hudson with her husband, Jaegan; their dog, Sadie; and a small herd of housecats.

A former Daisy and Brownie, Arianne joined GSGWM in May 2015. As a MarCom Specialist, she said there’s always something fun or interesting underway: she especially enjoys opportunities to partake in activities with local troops. Arianne holds a BS in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College and an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship & Strategy Consulting from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, Babson College. When she’s not at work, Arianne enjoys volunteering her time at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua. She currently sits on the Young Friends of the Currier Steering Committee, as well as the Board of Directors and Community Involvement Committee for the Manchester Young Professionals Network. Arianne also works as a painting instructor at Graffiti Paintbar in Nashua, NH.

Product Sales Manager
A longtime supporter of Girl Scout programs, Kathie served as an adult volunteer for six years and as a staff member for nearly two decades. As the manager of product sales, she said her favorite time of the year is when she undertakes the process of selecting Girl Rewards for the fall product and cookie sales. Kathie attended Briarcliffe in Hicksville, NY, and Wilson Tech in Dix Hills, NH. A resident of Hooksett, she enjoys the beach, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren in her spare time.

Product Programs & Graphic Design Coordinator
Robin has been a Girl Scout since she was a Brownie. As a Senior Girl Scout she went with her troop to Our Cabana, one of her most exciting experiences. She is proud to have earned her First Class award. Robin has been an adult volunteer for years until joining staff in 2012. Her degree is in early childhood education and communications, and since has added graphic design to her expertise. When not supporting communities with product sales at GSGWM, Robin can be heard on the internet airwaves co-hosting a program for military families. Robin and her husband, Stephen, enjoy traveling to visit their two adult children and their spouses. You may have seen Stephen at Girl Scout Cookie time helping distribute cookies to the cupboards or at summer camp where he helps transport campers.

Sales and Marketing Assistant
Growing up in Hudson, Lauren joined the Girl Scouts as a Daisy and made her way up to Junior level. Now a staff member at the Mountain Top Shop, she draws on her marketing and retail background to serve her customers, forming lasting relationships with the girls and parents coming into the store. She earned her Bachelor’s in Marketing at Southern New Hampshire University. Lauren currently lives in Nashua, where she enjoys spending time with her feisty Yorkshire terrier, Preston, and pursuing hobbies like reading, jewelry-making, and interior design.
