Start your own FIRST LEGO League Team! Teams are made up of 6–10 girls in grades 4–8 in fall 2014. Teams are led by at least two adult coaches (no experience needed), and supported by additional mentors and the series pathway at GSGWM.

Girls gain:

  • Diplomatic negotiation skills
  • Confidence in leadership roles
  • Gracious professionalism
  • Interest in engineering and computer science
  • Teamwork skills
  • Communication skills

What is the future of learning? FIRST LEGO league teams in 2014 will find the answers. Teams this year will redesign how we gather knowledge and skills in the 21st century. Teams will teach adults about the ways that kids need and want to learn.  Get ready for a whole new class – FLL WORLD CLASS!

FLL challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers.  During FLL WORLD CLASS, teams will build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS to solve a set of missions in Robot Games.  They will also choose and solve a real-world question in the Project.  Learn more by visiting the FIRST LEGO League Site below.
