On Leadership Journeys, girls learn the benefits of the Girl Scout "Keys to Leadership": Discover, Connect, Take Action, and have a great time!
Girl Scout Brownies work together as they earn Journeys and badges, plan field trips, and make a difference in their communities. They make new friends, explore new places, and develop as leaders through a growing variety of age-appropriate activities and options.
The Camp Pathway features day, weekend and resident experiences that introduce and explore the out-of-doors. A defining characteristic of this Pathway is that it is an outdoor, condensed experience.
Not ready to stay overnight, but still want to swim, play games, make crafts, and even learn to cook outside? Our day camps are a great way for girls to stay in scouting over the summer, while gaining independence and making new friends. Feeling more adventurous? Think about staying overnight for a week at Camp Farnsworth.
The Events Pathway offers girls flexibility in planning their Girl Scouting experience. Girls can choose to join our more structured Events Pathway Groups, attending 4 events with the same group and completing a Journey, or they can attend any of our events a la carte as their schedules allow. Series offerings are a sequence of linked program sessions - offered by the Council or community partners - that relate to a specific theme or purpose and feature cumulative, sequential experiential learning. Each girl chooses to participate in the entire series as a complete program package; series may be short-term or longer-term. The intent is to engage the same group of girls throughout the entire series of program opportunities.
Our best known Girl Scout option- join a group of girls and work together while you attend programs, earn badges, and try new things!
The Troop Pathway offers the same group of girls the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, usually over the span of nine to twelve months. Girls may join at any time during the troop year. Troops can camp, attend council events, and travel as a group all through the Troop Pathway!
Schedule too packed? Participate in a Virtual Pathway program and log on to an online Girl Scout community that provides girls the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouting without regard to geographic location. Girls will be divided into program level groups and will have monthly meetings through a virtual format using secure websites and webinars.
Earn badges and meet girls from all over New Hampshire and Vermont in a Virtual Troop! Girls participate in monthly online meetings and an in person Take Action project at the end of the year. Participate in one-time events with girls around the Council and learn new computer skills at a class.
