Troop FUNdamentals is required for new volunteers working in the Troop Pathway.
This course covers the roles and responsibilities of the Girl Scout leader, methods of obtaining parent and/or guardian participation, important elements of group meetings, girl and adult planning, finances and crisis and risk management. This course also provides focus on delivering to girls the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) – the skills we are striving to impart to girls and the processes that best advance them. Participants will learn to use the Journeys, Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting and other resources to deliver the GSLE.
