Girls Change the World
This year’s GSLI theme has never been more true! Girls will choose among seven popular issues and design related projects that will enable them to go out and make a difference in their communities.
This year’s issues are teen violence, healthy relationships, basic needs (such as hunger, poverty, homelessness, and natural disaster relief), inclusion/diversity, self-image/body image, education, and the status of women.
Nicole is the GSGWM Coordinator for the Special Programs & Events Pathway. She graduated from Plymouth State University in 2011 with a B. A. in English: Teaching 5-12 and a Minor in Religious Studies. Her favorite part of her job is creating programming for girls and loves thinking of new and innovative ways to bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls in VT and NH. Nicole lives in Nashua, NH with a small, gray cat named Alfred who takes up a majority of her time outside of work.
Anne is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts who earned her First Class Award. She has been a member of the Board of Directors for GSGWM and was the President of Swift Water Council. Anne is also an attorney with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. She lives in Milford, NH with her husband, two teenage sons, and five wildly out-of-control cats. Anne is really looking forward to traveling with the older girls to Salt Lake City. She has attended 4 National Council Meetings but no Girl Scout Leadership Institutes and cannot wait to have this experience with the 10 spectacular older girls who were chosen and Nicole!
