Join the Coastal Rompers for a girl-planned weekend of seaside fun! The Coastal Rompers is a marine education and conservation series for Seniors and Ambassadors, who deliver all aspects of the Discovery Weekend, including directing and managing the event, which is attended by Brownies and Juniors. Find out more at the link below!
Stay overnight in one of seven camping sites, each with an Adirondack shelter that sleeps about 12 Brownies or 10 Juniors comfortably – just pack light! The Adirondacks are closed on three sides, with a screened front that can be draped with a tarp in inclement weather. The inside only has a wood floor and shelves, so consider bringing sleeping mats. There’s space around each shelter for pitching tents for the adults.
Drinking and washing water is available from a shared wash stand, and each site has access to pit toilets. Groups must supply their own meals, and a fireplace is available for groups with a BOLS trained adult. Facilities are also available to accommodate group members with special needs!
