Camporees/Jamborees are events sponsored by other Girl Scout Councils with attendees from across the country. Troops can either register through GSGWM or directly with the host council. Girls whose troops aren’t interested in the event, or who aren’t in a troop, can apply to travel with GSGWM.
Minnesota Dreams – Summer 2015
Volunteers from all over Minnesota are working to host the Minnesota Dreams Jamboree, and we're invited! After the Opening Ceremony, attend a variety of workshops, which may include:
- Rock Climbing
- Local History
- Evening Programs
- Horseback Riding
- Mall of America Trip
- Making New Friends

The Fine Print:
Minnesota Dreams will take place July 15 – July 19, 2015 on the campus of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota – 40 miles south of the Twin Cities. This event is open to all registered Girl Scouts who have completed the 6th grade by summer 2015. The Jamboree with cost $500 per person, not including airfare. Those traveling with GSGWM will fly together.
GSGWM is accepting applications for both girls and adults. Interviews will be conducted the week of September 15th, 2014 so don’t miss this amazing opportunity!
California Dreamin2 – Summer 2015
Camp with thousands of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the world at California Dreamin²! During your seven-day adventure, you’ll have a chance to take trips off-site, participate in exciting workshops, and so much more! Whether you’re looking for your next big Girl Scout adventure, or looking for your first, this is an excellent opportunity. Activities for 2015 will include archery, chocolate culinary tours, a visit to Alcatraz, white water rafting, surfing, kayaking, Yosemite National Park, camping, cooking, deep sea-fishing, Stanford University and University of California-Berkeley, gold panning, glass fusion jewelry making, zip lining, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Winchester Mystery House, and much, much more!
The Fine Print:
California Dreamin² will take place July 26 – August 2, 2015 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. This event is open to all girls who will be in grades 6-12 over the summer of 2015. The cost is $450 per person, not including airfare. Those traveling with GSGWM will fly together; we'll release ticket prices on or around April 1st, 2015.
We are looking for adults to chaperone this trip. Chaperones will be responsible for supervision of girls for the entire trip, attending a pre-trip planning meeting, and some logistics work before the trip. If interested, please complete the application below and submit it to GSGWM. Girls interested in attending California Dreamin² should complete the girl application below.
