Funding and Support

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains relies on grants, sponsorships, donations from the public and from United Way agencies for support beyond the Girl Scout Cookie Program and the Fall Product Sale. Parents, friends, companies and foundations have joined us by making generous contributions to ensure that every girl in New Hampshire and Vermont has the opportunity to experience the very best Girl Scout program. Click on the links at left for more information about how you can help. Click here to download information about free ways to support Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains.

At our 1st Annual Breakfast with Champions, six women who are leaders and champions for girls in their communities and state were honored as positive role models and examples of Girl Scout values in action in May at two breakfasts in the state capitals. Read more.

Want to put a smile on the face of a Girl Scout? Consider donating an item on our wish list. You – or someone you know – may already have what we need in an attic or garage!

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains salutes its many donors who make the work we do possible.

Here are just a few ways that your generous gift may be put to use:

Today’s Girls, Tomorrow’s Leaders (Girl Leadership Fund): Enables us to develop and implement cutting edge, "branded" leadership program for girls and young women.

Girl Member Opportunity Fund: Makes it possible for every girl who wants to have a full Girl Scout experience through direct and special assistance to girl members.

Reaching Girls at Risk: We develop and implement programs that reach girls for whom a traditional Girl Scout experience is not an option.

Adult Support, Learning & Leadership Fund: Makes it possible to educate and support adult volunteers so they have the leadership, knowledge, and skills to provide excellent service to girls.

Campership Fund: Provides direct financial assistance for outdoor program or camp fees to make it possible for every girl to have a camp experience.

A Place for Girls Fund: Provides dollars for property development, enhancement and care, ensuring properties that are safe and fully accessible to people of all abilities.

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains Technology Fund: Ensures that all council operations, services and programs are fully supported by effective and efficient technology. Gifts are also used for technology programs for girls.

Family Partnership Fund: Only one organization for girls introduces the possibilities, provides opportunities, teaches teamwork, celebrates individuality, embraces diversity, and establishes lifelong friendships. It is the support of our families that makes Girl Scouting possible.

Juliette Gordon Low Society: Members of the Juliette Gordon Low Society share a love of Girl Scouting, a commitment to the long term vitality of the Movement, and a wish for all girls to experience the lifetime of personal growth and cherished memories that Girl Scouting offers. This is a multi-year giving commitment with pledge levels of $250 (Bronze), $500 (Silver), $1,000 (Gold), and $2,500 (Pearl) per year for 5 years.
